Hello! My name is Elysa, and I am a former Reggio-Emilia preschool teacher now seeking a position as a nanny &/or family assistant. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with children in a classroom setting, where I learned the importance of fostering creativity, emotional intelligence, and a sense of belonging. My work has been guided by the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which encourages a child-centered approach to education and views children as competent, curious, and capable of driving their own learning. Outside of teaching, I have also babysat & provided light housekeeping for multiple families! In my career as an educator, I developed a deep understanding of how to meet the individual needs of children & their families.
