My name is Melanie and I’ve had about 4 years of experience with children from 1 month to 5 years old. I’m currently enrolled in Moorpark college in which I’ve gone through 2 years of the child development program, which is one of the best in the county. Along with my school experience I also have at home experience with my family adopting a newborn 3 years ago. I have been like a second mother to my adopted sister and have helped to acclimate her to the world as she grows and learns. Nothing brings me more joy than watching children learn and grow. I’ve spent a lot of time nannying for children in my neighborhood, about 5 years. I’m also CPR and first aid certified and have gone through a medical assistant program 2 years ago so I’m up to date on all current certifications inculding blood born pathogen Read more training and nutrition and fitness courses.
