Hi! My name is Nicole, and I am a teacher/nanny. I graduated with a Secondary Ed degree in English. I taught English for two years in a Christian school, taught first and second graders for three years, then subbed and taught from first through 11th grade for a few years. My all time favorite age groups has been elementary and younger. I grew up working with children in my mother's Christian family childcare, worked with all age groups at college, and have cared for infants through elementary in our church's nurseries and in different weekly ministries. I have been able to work with children at their age appropriate levels having story time, going on walks/nature walks, doing crafts, teaching basic skills, reading, writing and more. As a teacher I have had the incredible opportunity to teach elementary children all subjects. I teach basic piano and violin, can go on field Read more trips, do fun games; work with babies to meet their milestones by talking, singing, reading, enjoying playing together and more. I have also taught EFL students reading and speech. Nannying and tutoring over a year-and-a-half now and turning it into my own business, "One Smart Cookie" has been such a joy. Nicole is so sweet. My 2yr old son who normally takes a while to warm up to people absolutely adores her. She is great with toddlers and infants. My 9mo. old daughter is in her "stranger danger" phase and even she has not been too fussy with Nicole. Nicole has a warm, welcoming personality and she is the the first nanny we've hired as I return to work full-time. I have to say not only are we blessed to have found her, but also feel relieved that I'm leaving my children with someone reliable.
