Hello, My name is Monica, I am 38 years old. I have been in the Childcare/ Teaching field for more than 15 years, I am interested in a position as a Nanny/Caregiver. I currently reside in Sylmar CA. A little bit about myself: I started working as a Teacher in a family owned daycare center while attending college. I then began my internship hours at a Private school in Sylmar. Once I completed two semesters of internship hours I was hired fulltime as a Preschool teacher for the 4 year old Preschool class. I was an educator there for 8 years. I moved on to running a daycare for 4 years. I ran my daycare, and loved the experience, but i needed to lessen my hours so i could spend quality time with my children as well. I then moved on to Nanny for a family with three little ones. Read more I really enjoyed how they welcomed me and my family as a part of their family. I loved helping the children reach their milestones and discovering new experiences daily. I take a lot of pride in keeping children safe & happy. I also take a lot in pride in being very flexible & able to follow whatever the day may bring, but i can also stick to a strict schedule when needed. I am Bilingual-Spanish, very helpful, organized, and i also enjoy helping others get organized. I am CPR certified, a non-smoker, with a clean record. I am a pet owner, so I don't mind pets, i actually love animals. I have great people skills, and I’d be happy to provide references from co-workers, parents, or a letter of recommendation from the Private school.
