I was primarily a housewife and raised my two children, who are now both in college, but have worked part time in a number of jobs which involved caring for children. When my son first attended the school where my husband worked I worked part time in the preschool when needed for about year. We then moved to China, where after a few years I took over management of a Chinese Institute my husband had started and ran it for five years. We had students from age 3 to high school, as well as adults. After we returned to America I taught students from kindergarten to 6th grade in Riverside Chinese school for almost three years. I then worked another year as a teaching assistant in a new Chinese immersion elementary school. I worked with kindergarten to 4th grade students, tutoring them and helping them with ESL testing. While I Read more have never been a nanny before, I was very responsible in raising my own children and have shown my love of children, cleanliness, sense of responsibility, and patience in many other roles. I now host three international students and have little else to do while they are in school, so I am interested in working as a nanny during the school day.
