I am a former teacher. I run half-marathons, lift weights, rock climb, yoga, pilates. I say all this because some people have asked me If I can handle a job. I'm a mature woman with plenty of healthy experience and I work for several family's. I would love an interview. I don't just babysit, I make the time with the children, adventurous and bring a lot of pointers about life (colors, shapes, texture, numbers, and point out interesting things to stimulate their critical thinking skills. I taught kindergarten and I'm good with children, not in a cocky way but with confidence. I would love to connect for interviews. I can also bring resumes to share. I am also signed up for a CPR class which will be helpful. Sincerely, Penny G.

Ms Penny is so lovely! She has taken care of our two children for the past 4 months after school. She picks them up always on time (early!) and we really appreciate how reliable she is. She communicates well and often so we know what is going on while we are working. She pays attention to the children and their interests and handles conflict well. She is kind, firm, and fair. Just what we needed! I hope your family will enjoy spending time with her.

This review is long overdue, but you know #momlife. My toddler son spent a magical 4 days under Penny's care, while we had a gap in transitioning between nannies (Penny herself was also about to start a new role, so the timing worked out perfectly for her to fill the gap). Her passion for care, fostering a love of learning and imagination was evident - she arrived with her own supply of fun and educational toys which IMMEDIATELY won my kiddo over. She was so intune to his feelings and masterfully coached him through his typical toddler frustrations. I highly recommend Penny as a caregiver - both for your little and as the positive support that every mom needs and so rarely gets.

Ms. Penny has been a dedicated nanny and teacher for my daughter since she was 3 months old. She has many experiences teaching at school and home, and also raised her 3 daughters so she is very knowledgeable about babies/kids. She reads books to my daughter, teaches her words, takes her out for walks, and comes up with fun play so my daughter really loves Ms. Penny. She also shares tips about raising kids, so she is a great supporter to any parent as well. I will recommend Ms. Penny if you are looking for reliable teacher/ nanny at your home.

We hired Penny in 2017 to watch our 6 month old daughter a couple of times a week so I could get some work done. Fast forward 6 years and she is still a part of our family. We now also have an 18 month old son and he is benefitting from time with Penny as well. Penny is a wonderful sitter. She has vast experience with educating children and is always so happy to work with our kids. We no longer need her weekly but I am happy to say that she is often available when I need the occasional sitter. She is eager to work and is very reliable. Penny often brings her own educational activites and books to share with the kids. It is fun for them to play with something new when she comes. I love that she will intentionally play with them and teach them while she is here. My son loves playing with her and my daughter asks for her when we are getting a sitter. I feel very safe with Penny and never feel worried when I leave her alone with the kids. She is always happy to follow my schedule and will often keep me updated if I am gone for long. Since we do not have family that live close by it can be challenging to find good help for the kids. I am happy to say that Penny feels like a family member coming over to keep the kids, we are blessed to have found her and will continue using her for years to come.

Ms. Penny started helping us with our son, Lexi around August of 2022. She is very prompt in arriving at the time we need her. She would usually arrive 10 minutes early so she could settle it and prepare for her time with Lexi. Our son would wake up from his nap and she would help us feed him lunch. Then, their afternoon would be a mix of stimulating activities and walks. She devotes the majority of her time to educational play from object recognition to speaking early words. As an educator, I highly value her technique and strategy in helping our son get acquainted with learning. She is very patient with him and truly cares for him like her own family. She allowed Lexi to grow comfortable with her at his own pace and it did not take long for him to open up to her. Using cardboard cut outs, she taught him to recognize shapes and numbers which he really enjoys playing with. My husband and I work from home and are in the house most of the time that Ms. Penny and Lexi are together. We would hear him imitate her in the sounds and words she is teaching him and we would often hear him laugh with her. Later in the afternoons, if the weather is nice, she would take him on strolls so they could enjoy the outdoors together. He would often come back with objects he found such as leaves or barks, things that he is excited to show us. She teaches him to help clean up after they are done with certain toys and also help with some tasks like wiping the table after meals. We highly recommend her because with her watching Lexi, we feel that he is in very good hands and that he is getting to learn while also engaging in fun activities.

Penny was a great help to us in a very hectic time! She took care of our two year old son while helping us prepare for the arrival of a new baby. Penny was great at introducing our son to new activities and continuing to teach him letters and numbers. He loved taking walks with her and talking about all the trees and flowers. She is incredibly active, helping however possible - whether it was laundry or household odds and ends. We so appreciated her time spent with us!

I cannot say that Penny was just a baby sitter to us because she was much more to us and our daughter. Penny was a fantastic care giver to our 18 months old daughter. She was with us for little over two weeks and made lasting impact on our daughter. Our daughter was shy and afraid of new people because we have been locked up due to the pandemic. Penny opened her horizon, while still being safe and brought out the sociable and fun loving personality out in her. Penny taught her patients, helping out, interacting with strangers, understanding various elements around her, nature etc. She was very gentle and very caring towards our daughter and was always looking for ways to get her to experience something new. I cannot write enough good things about Penny. You have to work with her to understand the value she adds to your child's life. Our life was forever changed because of the time Penny spent with our family. I feel blessed to have met her and become friends with her. And I know I can always count on her.

I have worked with Penny for about a month now and my family is very happy with her. She is punctual and very active to make my 9 yo boy busy. She knows how to make kids happy. She prepared different activities for my kid everyday even his dinner! We started working with her as a substitute nanny for two weeks and my son felt very sad after finishing that time. Now she is our nanny and he does not need to be sad anymore.
