I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old, and I first got certified in the Safe Sitter course at a local college. I've found that I really enjoy working with children because they give me a fresh perspective on life, it allows me to hang out with little people who offer no judgement, and it's a great way to just be silly and bring out my inner child. I also have always been very drawn to jobs where I feel like you can make a difference in someone's life. In addition to sitting (which I've babysat anywhere from 9 months to 8 years) I've also been a drama/tennis/cabin instructor at summer camp, a drama/music instructor for really little ones at Vacation Bible school, and I currently work as child care staff at Bel Air Presbyterian church. (but thankfully this latest job is flexible, I only work two days Read more a week.) I'm also an actor so I'm looking to fill my schedule with work but also hopefully be able to take time to go on auditions as well.
