I discovered my passion for childcare through volunteer work in high school and have been doing what I love ever since. I have been working with children for 7 years, and children with special needs for 4. I have two associates degrees in both Child Development and Social and Behavioral Sciences and currently work in special education for Burbank Unified School District. Due to my occupation at a school, I have summers off and am looking for a temporary job during the summer months with the potential to continue on an evening/ weekend basis after the start of the following school year. I I am CPR and first aid certified with current references and have a clean driving record. I'm truly passionate about working with kids and having fun exploring and creating while also having the education and knowledge about child development to ensure a safe and positive environment. I also have experience with physical disabilities like muscular dystrophy or children that require medications, ventilators, or feeding tubes.
