I have never been employed as a babbysitter, but for 2 years during my undergraduate I was a volunteer at a pediatric outpatient clinic that provided occupational therapy services to children with Neurodevelopmental disorders. During my time there I developed a strong passion for being a ‘helper’ and developing involved relationships with children and their parents. Also I held a position as a caregiver to a woman with multiple sclerosis where I assisted with housework, cooking, cleaning and facilitating mobility. To this day I remain involved in her life as it was never just a job. Since then, I have maintained a position as a Neuro Rehab Specialist in a residential facility that provides rehab therapy to people with Brian injuries. I have learned a lot about caregiving, as well as developed a greater knowledge on how to teach and ensure the safety of another. Though I enjoy this position Read more very much I am a point in my education where I cannot work as many hours anymore. A job in a similar field is my preference as it is both fulfilling and educational. Will complete background check upon request and I am fully vaccinated for COVID. Current GRAD student- availability changes frequently
