Well educated preschool teacher looking to enrich children's daily life What I belive is impotent: I believe in order to change the future I need to focus on the children and their families. To ensure that each individual child has the best chance at a successful future I have provided a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere that will allow them to grow intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally. I believe It is my responsibility to encourage a child to take risks and push the boundaries of what they have already achieved . I have done this by taking advantage of a child's deep desire to actively engage with and make sense of their ever-changing world. I believe for a child to have the best chance at a successful future the entire family unit should be strengthened as one. I have vowed to be intentional in all i do with children I Read more have never looked at educating young children as a job but as a calling. I have been just as eager to learn as children are. I always am learning alongside the children, modeling an inquisitive attitude for learning. I also respect every culture of every family. I vow to learn about each child's individual unique culture directly from the family,as well as my own. I believe to truly respect the culture is to ask the questions that you may have to someone of that culture, opposed to turn to a book, magazine, or movie.I only use people first language and never put a person's situation before a person. Ultimately I believe that it is my calling to foster active building of a child's knowledge from first hand experience in their everyday environment. I have done this by allowing many play opportunities throughout the day because I believe that a child does the most valuable learning during play and the interactions with peers and materials. Children are the future of the world I will protect our near future by protecting them and their development . Achievements: - Teacher permit - Child development scholarships - CLASS training (student teacher inaction) - kid and smoking don't mix training - ECER training -AA in Child Development - In the child development field for over 2 years - Experience with 2-5 in a school setting and all ages over the past 15 years as a babysitter/nanny

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
