Hi families! My name is Angie, and I'm a former Au Pair. A little about me: I am from Colombia and 27 years old. I graduated in social communication and journalism and decided to be in a cultural exchange program in the United States two years ago. I have a chocolate lab and I love him so much. I love animals, especially dogs. I am interested in languages, my mother tongue is Spanish and I have been learning and practicing English (I hope to learn Italian too). I recently got married and moved to California, I live in Walnut Creek with my husband. My experience working in childcare: I am the oldest of my siblings, so I was very involved in caring for my little brother who is 14 years younger than me. I completed a number of hours in childcare in order to apply for a cultural exchange program. Read more I was in this program for two years. In my first year as an Au pair, I cared for a beautiful 2-year-old girl. During my second year, I was with another larger family, I took care of three children (7,10,12 years old). The activities that I do with the children change depending on their ages, however, this is a little of what I do: walks to the park visits to museums/water parks/seasonal parks/library playdates with friends Crafts drop off and pick up at school/activities/sports practice, etc. Children's laundry prepare food for children: breakfasts, lunches, meals, snacks If you have any questions or would like to talk to me more, I am open to interviews in person or by call..
