Hi there! My name is Allison andI have dedicated a large majority of my life to working with children. I am originally from Dallas, TX and have been living in Los Angeles for 2 years.I have over 12 years of experience babysitting/nannying, including infants. Aside from babysitting and nannying, I have worked with kids of all ages at a camp for individuals with special needs for 6 consecutive summers, and have worked in a special education classroom for students with autism. I am a naturally patient, empathetic, and responsible person, but through all of these experiences I have gained many skills that make me a trustworthy, thoughtful, and fun nanny/babysitter. In my previous jobs I often had to handle difficult situations, such as medical emergencies, students with behavioral needs, and many other scenarios where I had to think quickly and make a decision that best supported the child. I grew up in dance and theater, so I am generally a high energy, creative person. I love to plan activities, be outside whenever possible, and I love music. In my free time I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, cooking, and taking spin classes. am a highly organized, punctual person, and have lots of experience taking care of dogs as well- I fostered and adopted a dog during the early days of the pandemic.
