I received my BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and my Masters in Social Work from UCLA. I am interested in a part time or occasional nanny position before I jump into the social work field. My professional experience mostly consists of working with children and teens. I nannied a 7-year-old boy for almost two years and have grown very close with his family. I mentored children during my undergraduate career at UC Berkeley. They were aged 7-12. I helped them with homework and projects, read to them, and played sports and playground games. After receiving my Bachelors in Psychology, I worked as a behavior instructor with autistic children aged 5-7. I did in-home visits and provided ABA-based treatment to teach and improve language, cognitive, social, motor, and behavioral skills. I also worked in a dual diagnosis rehabilitation facility for adolescents aged 12-18 for over a year. Here, I created Read more daily lesson plans, facilitated behavior modification, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling to adolescents struggling with mental health and addiction issues. Based on my experience, I've pretty much seen it all! I have a wide range of working with children and I love doing it because it's such an engaging and hands on experience!
