First off, I adore children and I always have! I have tended children since the age of 12 and love doing so. I do well with kids of all ages. I was been a mentor, or "big", for the Big Brother & Big Sister organization for 3 years and loved doing it. While in college I was a hired personal assistant and caretaker for my grandmother. She has early onset Alzheimer’s disease and is a diabetic. I was in charge of hiring and paying both her housekeeper and landscaper, I bathed her, scheduled all her doctor’s appointments, cooked, grocery shopped, and took her for daily outings. I did all of the above while a full time student and still achieved a very high GPA. I work well under pressure and love doing work that is ever changing and revolves around the tasks of daily life.
