It is my life project to help enable the creation of circular, ethical, and ecological sensitive society. At this point in my project, teaching and nurturing the next generation of leaders represent my way forward. I am a lifelong autodidact who from 6 months old have been immersed in the fine arts, basic tenets of lifelong learning, global cultural conventions, and ecology. It was according to my family a lovely summers day in at the Aspen Music Festival in 1996 when this journey began. I was fortunate enough to grow-up in a small loving family in Denver, Colorado. My grandmother, 40 year high school English teacher and international traveler instilled me with an unwavering curiosity. Through experiential, multifaceted education at the Graland Country Day School( Denver, CO) and The Robert Lewis Stevenson School (a boarding school in Pebble Beach, CA), I became versed in teaching others and oneself how to Read more learn, mountaineering, fine arts, international cultural conventions, entrepreneurship, history, and proper manners. At both institutions, I contributed to after school learning programs, athletics (varsity golf and cycling), with the admission of new students (Green Key program at Stevenson). I established my life project in the 10th grade, when a professor and I created an after school program Intrsct to inspire 6th-12th grade students at RLS to learn about and create ethical, sustainable innovations and entrepreneurial ventures. This program continues today, with the core curriculum reflecting many of Intrscts tenets. University took me to the Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY) and the University of Manchester (Manchester, England, UK). This 5 year journey commenced with a rigorous Mechanical Engineering education that morphed into a individualized study program. My formal Bachelors of Science degree in Sustainable Engineering and Circular Business, combines rigorous engineering and economics with generative thinking and circular theory grounded in real world applications. My time at the University of Manchester, exposed me to life in a foreign nation, personal tragedy in the form of a pedestrian accident, and the Oxford education model. Each experience enriched me as a human being and changed my life. As a result I am very adept at navigating various healthcare systems, daily schedules, travel, extracting learning experiences out of seemingly mundane activities, and living independently. I look forward to meeting you.
