Hi, I’m Delainie! I am 25 years old & currently a senior in college at The University of Colorado Denver, studying public health, with a double minor in human development & family relations, & behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. You can usually find me watching a documentary, eating good food, checking out a brewery, doing something outside, coaching or playing volleyball, or with my friends & family. My child care experience is extensive. I have worked with more than 200 families with preemies to teenagers as a nanny & coach over the past twelve years. I have been caring for children since I was 13 & have done just about everything that comes with kids (except have any of my own, yet!), so nothing scares me ;). I’ve been a full time nanny for the last five years (40-80 hours a week) particularly to premies through four years of age. I Read more was also the volleyball program director at a JEFFCO charter school, & head volleyball coach to two middle school teams & two high school teams, consisting of 50+ kids for five seasons, bringing in two championships, & three second places. It all brings SUCH joy to my life! I have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license, do not smoke, & am certified (since 2009) in infant, child, & adult CPR & AED, infant care, wilderness first aid, & general first aid. Some things you can expect from me as your sitter: * I will keep your kids entertained with books, outdoor adventures, & hands-on activities! * I will always do my best to pick up after myself & your kids throughout our time together. * I will always do my best to keep an open & honest line of communication. * I will always be respectful of house rules, confidentiality, & privacy. * I will always encourage the use of manners, respect, & appropriate responsibility. Sitter Policies: * Cash, check, or Zelle are the only accepted forms of payment. * Parents who are late without notice will be charged $1/minute in addition to the hourly rate. * Parents who arrive early will still be expected to pay for the entire time booked. * Parents who cancel within one week of the booked date will be charged half of the booked price as a loss of income fee. * If parents are cancelled on within one week of the booked date, sitter will offer a $50 credit to the next available date. * If sitter is transporting children in her own vehicle, standard IRS mileage will apply. * 5 hour minimum between Friday and Sunday.
