I am a very hardworking and loving person with a strong passion to teach children. I truly enjoy working with children and I have a lifelong experience working with kids. I am knowledgeable in the field of Elementary and Special Education. I am a very resourceful person and take every job seriously while still making the job fun and exciting. Back in 2012, I was a nanny for two children. One was 5 years old and the other was 9 years old. They attended Wagener Elementary in Tempe. They were in kindergarten and third grade. I picked them up from school and watched them every weekday where I cared for them, worked on homework together and prepared meals. I have passing scores for the CBEST test. I also have my Certificate of Clearance through the California Teacher Credentialing. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education in May Read more of 2012. In May of 2012 I was offered a second grade position at Lowell elementary. I accepted this position not knowing what to expect. Looking back, it was one of the greatest decisions I made. Working at Lowell has broadened my mind and perspective on teaching. I have taught second grade all 5 years. For the past three years I have been an English Language Development Teacher, meaning I am teaching students in the ELD program learning English and the second grade curriculum together. I am now living in California and hope to work with kids for the rest of my life. I decided to go back to school to obtain a second Bachelor's degree so I can hopefully run my own business one day.
