My name is Shanda, I am almost 27 and have a son that will be 2 in July. Over the course of 8 years I was the full time caregiver to 5 children from 3 different families as well as my own child in the least almost 2 years. The children ranged in age from newborn to school age. I was not responsible for all 5 children in the same time period, the most I cared for at once was 4. My responsibilities over the years have included, keeping structured routines for naps, meal times, outside play time, creative activities, taking children to and from school as well as doctors appointments and extra curricular activities at the recreation center.
