My experience working with and caring for children started at a young age when I would visit my neighbor, who ran a daycare from home, after school. I began babysitting at the age of eleven and worked with families in both short and long-term positions, my longest position held for eight years with the same family. With that family I worked with three wonderful little girls who were at the beginning one, four, and six. I loved being part of their family and watching them grow. I have also worked as a coach for sports teams, a leader at day and evening camps, and a tutor in after school programs. I believe my experiences have prepared me to be a care-giver ready to make a difference in a family's life.
