My name is Debby L. I am a former Registered Nurse, now an infant/child nanny! My nursing experience is : Newborn Nursery, Mother/Baby x 25 years in hospital nursing. IN 2012, I semi-retired from nursing and became a nanny! I LOVE BABIES and CHILDREN! I managed to birth, breastfeed and raise 5 fantastic children in all my spare time as a nurse! I have Excellent references from my current and previous child care employers. I am PEDIATRIC CPR/FIRST AID Certified. I do not smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs. I drive a reliable car. I am current with immunizations necessary to safely care for infants and children. I keep children SAFE, NOURISHED, CLEAN and HAPPY while they are in my care. I enjoy rocking, singing, reading and playing, age appropriate, activities with little ones, as well as, going for stroller walks to the park, library, or around the block. With the older children, I like participating in activities that the child enjoys, ie : reading stories, puzzles, arts & crafts, leggos, cars, trucks, tea parties,dolls, sing and dance, outside play when the weather permits. Ride bike, swim at a nearby pool, shoot baskets, take a nature walk or walk to the library. I enjoy assisting children with their homework when asked.
