I’m 23 years old, and I recently graduated from UNT with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology in December 2020. Some of my favorite courses included Child Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, along with Medical Sociology and Personality Psychology. I was a camp counselor for 5 years at an all girls sleep away camp in Tafton, Pennsylvania, (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) and from October of 2020 until November 2021, I had been teaching as a substitute at multiple schools in Denton County, Texas, until I moved to Colorado. I was adopted when I was seven years old, so I understand the importance of proper role models and how impactful influences are on a child’s mind, and pledge to be a positive one.
