As a former teacher, I have always loved working with children. From babysitting in middle school, being a camp counselor in high school and nannying in college, teaching was an obvious route to go down. Unfortunately, the education system has failed many teachers and I wanted to use my passion and energy where I could feel more respected and appreciated. I taught Pre-Kindergarten for seven long years and felt my light fading. I would love to be able to reignite that spark by helping out my community in other ways.
