Hi there! My name is Joanna, but kids usually call me JoJo. I have had many jobs in my 40 years of life, but a favorite was definitely being a nanny for a 3-month-old and 2-year-old for two years. I've worked in formal and informal settings with people of all ages and many different cultural backgrounds in the US and overseas. I love helping people (big and small) grow and learn and explore. I am neurodiverse (ADHD & gifted) and went to alternative schools until 7th grade. Experiencing these environments in my formative years contributed significantly to my value for children having spaces to explore the world and express their creativity. I sing and play instruments and have training in mindfulness and nonviolent communication, so these things naturally come into the work I do. I also love making people laugh. I currently work part-time on the weekends for a community Read more center in Broomfield and am looking for additional part-time work (20-30 hrs/week) closer to home in Aurora (near 225 & Alameda) or Denver. I am open to watching more than 2 children depending on the age-range. I am CPR and First Aid Certified.
