I am currently a first year university student at Northeastern University. Before moving to Boston, I grew up in California Bay Area and babysat all of my high school career. I worked with three main families throughout my four years of high school. I stayed with each family for two years, the first two years with just one family and the second two years with two different families. The families I worked with ranged from ages 4 to 13, but I babysat intermittently a new born. I usually work with a family of two to three, but am very open to the idea of watching more. I am one of four myself and love working with children. All of my service hours consist of helping in school classrooms and after school volunteering. My largest volunteer period was for my church, where I was the director of confirmation retreats for 7th Read more and 8th graders. I love meeting new families; getting the opportunity to help organize and support the parents in anyway they seem fit is what I am there for. I would love the opportunity to meet and connect with new families.
