Starting my freshman year of high school, I babysat for a family with a 5 yr old and 10 yr old boy, and continued on and off until my senior year. Also throughout high school, and after my first year of college, I worked at day camps. In Manhattan, I babysat for a family for 2 years, starting the summer of 2010. They had a 8 yr old boy and 10 yr old girl. I ended up developing a great relationship with them, and still keep in contact. In Los Angeles, I babysat for the Kimura family and their 10 year old twins Max and Hannah, working for them for 9 months until I moved to Colorado. In addition, the past four summers I've worked at Sanborn Western Camps, a sleep away summer camp in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, living in cabins with campers and leading 3-5 day back Read more country trips. I wish I could give Mike 10 stars! He babysat for us five days a week for nine months. He is moving to another state, and we are very sad to see him go. He was responsible (which I liked) and fun (which the kids liked). He seemed to take a genuine interest in the children and their lives. I would recommend him for any job.
