Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am a twenty three year old early childhood professional looking for new families to support and connect with. I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Child Development and am currently working on my Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering. I have three years of experience within a licensed child care center where I worked on creative curriculum, caring for children, and building relationships with families and over eight years of experience babysitting in that time along with five years of professional animal care. I am comfortable with meal prep and enjoy baking and cooking, as well as light house-keeping. I speak basic Spanish and would love to integrate that into any learning we do together as well as having certifications on nature-based learning through play. I have worked in a licensed child care center for three years now, though I have over seven years of experience with children. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and went into Early Childhood Education after having my daughter, who inspired my love for teaching and child development. I am up to date on my CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Medication Administering, as well as some creative certifications such as Highscope (learning tailored around children for maximum engagement), Outdoor Exploration, and Conscious Discipline (social emotional focused discipline). I also worked in the pet care industry for five years, starting in high school and through my first year of college so if you have any pets, I would be happy to help care for them and enjoy any outdoor time, such as walking and hiking. With pets I have experience medication administering, special needs, and with all types from scaly lizards to fluffy pups! We currently have a cat ourselves that we love dearly.
