Hi families! I have been a nanny for the past 13 years, and recently became a momma in November 2021 to my own babe, Lincoln. I took a short break from nannying to get a grip on our new life and now that Lincoln is 4.5 months old, we are ready to meet some new friends! I have availability for another baby to come join us at my house part time. With a background in Early Childhood Special Education, I am truly passionate about the development of infants and toddlers, and absolutely love that nannying has provided me the opportunity to work closely with so many different families along the way. Not only do I get to develop a bond with the baby, I also get to build a special relationship with the whole family. As a very experienced nanny of infants, toddlers, school-aged kids and multiples, I structure our Read more days with routine and consistency. That being said, there is plenty of time for reading, singing, playing, fresh air and endless snuggles! With my past nanny babies, I have enjoyed implementing baby-led weaning, sign language and Spanish for basic vocab words. I encourage independence, while offering support when and where it is needed. I'm always watching out for the next developing milestone, knowing that babies need encouragement and guidance to scaffold them to their next skill. Developmentally-appropriate activities will be the foundation of our playtime! A little bit about Lincoln - he loves long walks in his stroller, live music with Daddy (Old McDonald is a favorite!) and mid-night snacks with Mommy.
