I grew up in a full and busy household where the wheel was grinding and seven children were being raised. As soon as my younger siblings (twins) were born, I became a built in babysitter and assistant for my mom. Once I turned 13 I began babysitting weekly and leading Sunday school at church. Now, I simply can’t imagine life without children running around – they bring so much excitement and joy to life (even in the stressful moments). I have two nephews, two nieces, a plethora of friends with their own children, and help lead children’s ministry overseas so the opportunity to care for young ones always seems to present itself. For the past five years I have been an office manager overseeing 20+ teenage interns and leading oversea mission trips during the summers. This has allowed me to grow exponentially and demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, coaching, mentoring, love, and Read more care. Positively influencing and loving youth was the reason I came into work everyday and it has provoked me to live my life accordingly. This month I moved to Colorado to take time outside of an office environment as I finish up my college degree. I want to continue to be a positive influence of love and care and I cannot imagine a better way to do that then by caring for children! Being around kids is one of my favorite things in life and having the opportunity to take care of them is absolutely incredible to me! I understand that these little ones mean the world to you and I would love to partner alongside of you by loving and caring for them as much as possible! Whether you have infants that need to be rocked to sleep, a toddler that needs to be active, or a pre-teen in need of some homework help, I would love to assist. I’m comfortable with helping lightly clean, cook, take care of errands, and care for pets. Also, I do have my CPR and First Aid Certification as well as experience as an assistant, pet owner, and homeowner.
