Hello, my name is Michaela. I am 22 and have lived in Colorado for most of my life. I recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Psychology. I am the oldest of 5 siblings ranging in age from 18- 10 with one set of twins. I have loved watching my youngest siblings grow up and feel that they have enhanced my knowledge of child development. Some of my hobbies include reading (I love everything from children's literature to Tom Clancy), baking and hiking. I love to do fun things with the kids that I care for, such as arts and crafts, dress up (no one is too old to dress up like a princess or a superhero!), and exploring outside. I am punctual, neat, and have a strong work ethic. I have been caring for children since before high school. In August of 2010 I accepted a part-time position at Hope Montessori Academy in Monument, Colorado. I worked at Hope after school and during the summers from 2010-2013, and I loved it! I worked with all age groups while I was at Hope and therefore feel comfortable working with any age group. I love working with kids and hope to find a family to join!
