I’m a bubbly and energetic human with 10+ years of child care experience. I’ve cared for all ages. For what it’s worth, I also love pets! I’ve worked in healthcare (ophthalmology) for the last 15 years and am ready for a career change. The thing I love most about child care is watching small human’s brains work, learn and grow. I am extremely patient and kind and love teaching kids new things or helping them get through big emotions. I am very familiar with Montessori/Waldorf education and believe in a child-led learning approach. I am known as the activity/craft master amongst my friend group. I am CPR and first aid certified along with having taken many previous wilderness and backcountry preparedness courses. I’m not anticipating needing the latter of course, but I am trained for many different situations and can remain calm in case of emergencies.
