My name is Laura Powell. I'm 28 years old and lived in Japan for almost 8 years. I'm fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 certification). While I have never been an official nanny, in Japan I was involved in the education of Japanese children from 3 years old to high school level for approximately 5 years. During this time, in between teaching I would love interacting and playing with the kids. In addition, I worked for about a year with World Family's Telephone English, a company that is contracted with Disney to provide services to children from 0~6 years old with a quality educational experience over the phone. Other than babysitting as a kid, I have little nanny experience. But I am open to learning and would love to do my best to learn to care for infants and children!
