I have babysat for over half my life, but professionally it has been about five or so years. Bulk of my experience is between six months to eight years old where on certain days I would pick two boys up from school, and about a year and a half ago I was mainly babysitting a three (now four) year old. For several months I worked at a child care center, mostly newborn babies to about five years old. I have a associates degree in teaching with over thirty required hours of classroom observation/interaction, but eventually go back for a bachelors degree.
