Hello! I am an outdoor and animal-loving creative young woman looking to spend my afternoons developing your children and myself through adventure and play. I currently spend my mornings as the Catering Manager for Modern Market and I am looking to better utilize my free afternoons and weekends! I have always had a passion for working with children and as a "transplant" from the Midwest I am missing all the quality time spent with my nieces and nephews. I have a Bachelors degree from Indiana University in Recreational Therapy with minors in psychology and Spanish. I have recently obtained my CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) and I am working on networking a clientele basis - not my intention with this platform, this is just where I am at with my "big girl job!" In addition to being the familial sitter growing up I have been a dance instructor for children Read more ages 3-14, I have ran an adapted physical education program for children with disabilities ages 5-21, and I was a program coordinator for my local Boys and Girls club. My experience with infants is limited to helping raise my sister and doting on any babe I can however I would LOVE to have an opportunity to work more with this age range! I have always appreciated the imaginations and carefree attitudes of children. I love to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine (or jump in puddles and build mud pies in the rain!) and to get creative indoors. I have always enjoyed hiking, dancing, drawing, and laughing as much as I can. I am responsible and careful adult with a reliable job and vehicle, but I am just a big kid at heart. I look forward to meeting and growing with your family!
