Hi, my name is Jana. I am a responsible and friendly 31 yr-old who has been working with children for over 15 years. I started by babysitting for my parent’s friends and neighbors when I was young. Over the last few years, I have worked with children ranging from infants to college students which also includes experience taking care of special needs children. Additionally, I have spent my summers working as a freelance nanny/babysitter on weeknights, weekends, and sometimes for a period of weeks. I am currently a graduate student working on my M.S. in Mathematics. For the last two years, I’ve been working as a full-time math teacher and part-time math and science tutor. The courses I have taught include: 7th grade math, high school Algebra, and a community college course MAT 108. While working as a high school math teacher, I also started a girls weightlifting club. I Read more enjoy sports and love spending time outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include hiking, biking, swimming, tennis, and snowboarding. I also enjoy movies, puzzles, crafts, and other indoor activities. I love kids and believe it is up to us, as adults, to be an example and teach them how to be strong, passionate, and kind individuals. I am a very clean, highly organized individual with strong analytical skills. I pay great attention to detail. My friends and family would describe me as a responsible, loyal, team player and hard-working person with love for everyone. I think I would be a great fit for your family as I can be fun but also take my responsibilities seriously. I can help with schoolwork and I am not afraid to do handy work.
