My name is Nautica and I have been in childcare for two years now. I spent a year as a nanny for a 2 month year old. We spent the whole year together everyday except for holidays. I taught her how to walk, eat, sign language, tummy time, etc. I always prepared all 3 of her meals including bottle feeding many times throughout the day. Eventually I moved to Colorado with my husband and got a job as a daycare assistant at Once Upon A Childcare. There I was put into a classroom where I watched 7-10 kids daily. They were around ages infant-toddler(1year-3rs). In the classroom I learned how to balance my time for every child and how to quickly change diapers, give direction to the kids when it was story time, playtime, breakfast time, nap time, etc. We also did many art projects together and sang many songs Read more throughout the day. I also strongly use sign language for toddlers to help me understand what they want. Many children I worked with could not talk yet but I always knew what they wanted due to the signing!
