I am a graduate from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where I earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, graduating cum laude. I am currently enrolled in a master's program for the clinical mental health counseling program. My academic background and professional experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in child development, mental health, and advocacy. Professionally, I’ve worked as a research assistant in the Cognitive Development Lab, where I gained experience designing studies, analyzing data, and presenting findings. At CASA of the Pikes Peak Region, I transitioned from a facilitator role to victim advocacy. I developed my ability to assess needs, report findings, and provide court recommendations for children in challenging situations. I also began working with children through Sittercity, providing care for toddlers and school-aged children, which solidified my passion for supporting young learners since 2021. I have been working as a Read more Mental Health Facilitator for ITSCO for 2 years, where I provide therapeutic individual and group services to children and adolescents that foster recovery, emotional regulation, resilience, and skill development. I’m passionate about working with children and families to help them navigate challenges and build stronger futures. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, camping, entomology, and exploring creative hobbies such as embroidery, poetry, painting and flower pressing, as well as playing video games. In my free time, you can find me outdoors roller skating, hiking, or embarking on road trips.
