Hello! :) I am a full time student and my semester has just ended, although I am only available for the summer until fall semester begins, I have full time to help care for your little ones. I have babysitting experience (age NB-11yrs) from the age of 16 from helping family, family friends and school counselors with the responsibilities of care only. I then became a teacher assistant in the early toddler classroom (age 12m-18m) at Primrose School in Texas and teaching at the appropriate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development which focuses on getting the little on to walk, the 4 senses, and as well as the start of early communication through basic sign language and learn about colors, animals, shapes and many new things. :) I then became Head teacher of the toddler classroom (18m-24m) which is the advanced part of the early toddler class and gets your Read more little one to advance in communication through speaking. I have also helped a bit in the Early Preschool classroom which focuses the independency of your child like potty training and washing hands and participated in after school programs for all ages up to 5th grade. The wonderful feeling of experiencing your child’s growth through their small achievements is truly heartwarming and exciting to know how smart they truly are. I have nannied for an amazing family here in the springs only for a few months due to me being a full time student and had the responsibilities of meal prep and light cleaning. Given my experience in caregiving and early childcare I can offer teachings from my experienced of the primrose curriculum if you choose to consider it, I’d be glad to do so!
