My apologies, but I presently have a position. Thank you for your interest. My name is Carrie Shipley. I’m 29 years old and have a BFA from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design focusing in Illustration and Art Education. I began my art education majoring in fibers at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I taught middle school art and ceramics for a year in Lakewood CO. I have built my career around working with children, and I hope to continue to do so. I’m a proud aunt. I have two wonderful nieces ages 4 and 7 months, so I’m well acquainted with caring for infants as well as toddlers. I'm looking to nanny full time, and I would need to give my current employer two weeks notice. Currently, I work retail, and I am a freelance artist in the Denver mountain region. I’m reliable, responsible, up beat, Read more time efficient, hard working, organized, a non-smoker, and I can always babysit in the evening or stay late if needed. I do have my own transportation along with a valid CO driver’s license. I’m confortable with all pet, especial large dogs with high energy. In past years I was a dog owner myself to a Blue Tick Coonhound / Short Haired German Pointer mix. He was my 88 lbs. of love. I believe that the only way to provide efficient and quality childcare is to insure safety and trust. That is why I’m more than willing to have a background check and renew my CPR/First Aid training/license. Additional services I offer along with childcare are meal preparation, laundry, dog sitting/dog care, dog walking, light housekeeping, swimming supervision, crafts, and potty training. I’m willing to run errands as needed and to drive children to events, school, appointments etc.
