I am a Colorado native and know the Denver area well! I am a mommy to a beautiful, fun, friendly and energetic little girl born October 2014. She is the light of my life and my pride and joy. I have loved kids from a young age and grew up with plenty of them! I believe that children are so special and I love being able to be a part of such an incredible and important time of development and growth in their lives. I am fun, energetic, reliable and encouraging both to my charges and their parents! I love going to the Zoo, Downtown Aquarium, Museum of Nature and Science, and different area parks! I also enjoy taking my charges to story time at our local library as often as it fits into our schedule as well as trying to schedule at least one playdate per week at the Read more very minimum. I believe young children learn best through play and I love putting them in different environments where they have the opportunity to experience different sights, textures, and social settings. I have worked with all ages of children, but am most comfortable with ages newborn - 5 years. I started babysitting at a young age as I grew up with several younger cousins and family friends. In high school I worked at a summer camp in the mountains and even went back after graduation for a summer as full time staff! It was an awesome experience and gave me lots of experience with children of all ages as well as giving my tools on how to deal with certain behaviors and situations. I speak some Spanish, but am not fluent. I also know baby sign and believe in beginning sign at an early age. It is never too soon for your little to learn how to communicate, even if they can't use words yet. As your nanny, I am comfortable and willing to partake in light housework, such as dishes, kid's laundry, sweeping / vacuuming and daily straightening up after the days messes. I am a firm believer in open communication. It is the key to any successful relationship. You are entrusting your child(ren) to my care and I believe that you should know what goes on during the day, both the good and the not so good. I would be willing to communicate with you during the day (to a certain extent, as my attention will be directed to your littles) but daily debrief at the end of the day is important to me. I want us to be a unified front when it comes to the care, discipline, and teaching of your children. For that to happen, communication needs to be open and honest on all of our parts!
