I am 30 and have been babysitting/nannying on and off for the last 15 years or so. I should say up front that I am not a career nanny, but I am responsible, driven, energetic and fun and have worked in the corporate world, so I know the demands that are on parents and love to help out in any way I can. I have always loved kids and nannied full-time during summers in college. I am the go-to babysitter for friends and family. I currently take care of my sister's 8 week old and 3 year old as well as a good friend's newborn baby on a regular basis. I am very comfortable around kids and enjoy interacting with them and playing. I am not the type of sitter that just watches TV while the kids play by themselves. I started my own company a few years ago and Read more it does not demand my attention full time, so I'm looking to get into nannying because I love being around kids and have a flexible schedule. I'm also happy to help out with other tasks such as organizing, cleaning, cooking, house sitting, pet watching, etc. if you just need some extra help. I am looking for part-time work and because I work for myself otherwise, I can be available with a moments notice if needed. I have a reliable car with AWD and have a clean driving record.
