Hello! My name is Britta. My husband and I are moving to Santa Fe in a August, and I would love the opportunity to continue working with children. I have experience babysitting and nannying for the last 12 years. Most recently (2012-2015) I was a nanny for a wonderful family with 3 boys ages: 4, 2 and 1 month. I appreciated how welcomed into the family I was, and found it to be incredibly fun. I enjoy being active with children and exposing them to being creative & making art as well as taking trips to the park, library, and going on walks. For younger ones, I realize the importance of consistent routine and make sure this is a priority when working in activities. I value respect, kindness, patience, and creativity and be sure to demonstrate each of these attributes as I care for children. My most recent job working Read more with children was this last year at a children's art studio called Lalu. Lalu provides art classes for children ranging in ages from 8 months to 12 years. I am passionate about the benefits of creativity for young minds, and truly enjoy watching children learn and grow. While I will dearly miss Lalu and the energy and joy that is found there each day, I am excited about the opportunity to use the knowledge and skills I learned as a teaching artist.
