Hi! My name is Chloe, I am 24 years old. I am from Florida, but moved to Denver in February of 2019. After my years of babysitting when I was younger, I was a full-time private nanny in Florida for a lovely family for almost a year. They had a sweet 2-year-old girl and an infant. I then spent some time traveling Europe, and spent 3 months as an au pair in Germany caring for 6-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. After returning to my home town, I worked full time for a larger family with more responsibilities for a year. They had 3 year old twins, a boy and a girl, and an older sister that was 7. They are now 4 and 8, with a puppy, and it was difficult for me to leave them but I knew I wanted to move here. Responsibilities included lunch and Read more snack prep, picking the kids up from school in their family van, bringing them to the park or sports practices or other fun outings, play dates, walking the puppy twice a day, helping with potty training, etc. I have various other experiences caring for children of other ages, for example, occasional babysitting families and various temp jobs when I first moved to Denver. My last nanny family I worked for started when the boy was 3 months old and ended this past October when he was 18 months old. I still babysit for them regularly and they would be very happy to be a reference! Tasks for that job including preparing homemade organic baby food, keeping a daily journal to take note of all important activities of the day (feeding, diaper changes, tummy time, naps, etc), outside play as often as possible, and meeting with occupational therapists to keep his development on track. I've enjoyed these experiences so much that I'm hoping to be a career nanny long-term. I have been working on my education this year through the US Nanny Institute, which is an online college designed specifically for nannies that is recognized by the board of education. I've completed 4 out of their 5 programs, and will be starting the final program soon. I would love to find another sweet family to continue working with children. I also have a lot of experience with animals. I always had foster dogs in my home growing up, as well as our own dogs. I currently foster for RROC. I spent almost 2 years working in a pet store taking care of all small animals (fish, birds, reptiles, etc.) and I spent quite a lot of my free time researching how to properly care for these animals. I have guinea pigs of my own, Reginald and Cassius.
