Hello! My name is Lauren Emery. I am 26 years old currently working as an ABA therapist for children with developmental delays. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Elementary Education along with a minor in reading instruction and sociology. While getting my degree I began to tutor students one on one and in small groups weekly. This was when my love for kids began to really grow. After graduating I became a Kindergarten teacher at an early childhood development school. I was here for three years and the experience was truly amazing. I was able to positively impact many young lives and families. When my first class graduated, I was asked by many parents leaving the school if I was open to babysitting or tutoring. From then on I began to babysit for families on weekends and week nights as well as tutoring in Read more the summer. Last school year was my last year teaching, I have recently become a Registered Behavior Therapist working with clients ages 2 years old- 9 years old. I am part time and would love a second job doing what I do best, caring for children! I work hard to learn about and understand each child I am around. I am energetic and set healthy examples. I model for them using empathy and kindness. And I make sure the behavior/environment is fun and safe (I am CPR and First Aid certified). Your children will love me! Animals are also one of my passions in life. I will go above and beyond to take good care of them while giving them love.
