I have been in the ECE field for 7 years. I worked at PPCC as a lead preschool teacher as well as a mentor teacher and classroom for the students attending The NAEYC Accredited ECE college program offered. My classroom was on on site learning classroom. I mentored the new generation of ECE teachers on creating a safe risk taking, stimulating, engaging environment while allowing age appropriate learning to be the focus while planning the learning based on interest and development stage for each individual child. I am also a mother of 2 perfect angels. A 16 year old son, and a 13 year old daughter. I love working and supporting families as well as helping children scaffold into the next, age and stage of physical, cognitive and social/emotion development. Children aren’t meant to sit and stay they are meant to be curious explores while taking risks in a trusting environment with positive age appropriate guidance.
