My name is Shelley and I was born and raised in Denver. I actually knew that I wanted to work with children as my career when I began babysitting at the age of 12. In high school, I accepted an opportunity to assist a special education teacher in her resource class. That led me to pursue a degree in Special Education. I have 20+ years of childcare experience from infants to teenagers. I have also raised two children of my own. During the school year, I teach students in kindergarten through second grade who are in special education. I truly love being with children. Discovering their unique personalities and watching them grow, explore and learn is one of the most rewarding experiences a childcare provider can have. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, home projects, and reading. I also like to spend time with my family and Read more friends as well as watch Netflix. I will create a fun, imaginative, and safe environment for your children this summer! I look forward to meeting your family!
