With 16+ years of experience working with children of all ages and a bachelors degree in child development, I have experienced a wide range of growth and development in children of all ages. As the eldest girl in a family with 8 children, I’ve spent my life looking after and fostering the development of children. This embedded a passionate love of children that powered my drive to get my degree. At the very beginning of that journey, I was blessed with a daughter of my own. She is 7 now and sharp as a tack, which keeps me on my toes. We are learning Spanish together too! We love to be outdoors, at the park, on her bike/scooter/roller blades, on a walk or hike, jumping in puddles when it rains, water balloons when it’s hot or just playing out in the grass on a sunny day. When we’re indoors we Read more love play dough (which we make at home) crafts, legos, dolls, cars, dress-up, hide and seek, reading, sliding down her bed slide and cooking together. We do enjoy watching a movie or a couple episodes of tv too but that certainly isn’t the bulk of our day. I am CPR/First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, and have worked with newborns, twins, and a variety sibling groups. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know your family too.
