Hi there! My name is Kelcee and I am so excited to meet you! I have a BFA in Theatre, and am currently working on my MFA in Acting/ Speech and Language through Cal State Long Beach online. I love incorporating my skills as an actor to teach and learn from kids. They constantly inspire me to play more, take each moment one step at a time, and enjoy life! I have been working with kids of all ages for about 6 years now. Most recently, I was working with Kaiser Permanente through their AIR program, which brought a live theatre show and workshop surrounding mental health to middle and high schools. I was so fortunate to work with these kids and help coach them through the struggles accompanied by middle school and high school life. I have also worked every summer for the past 4 years at the Denver Read more Center for the Performing arts at their kids camps teaching theatre and providing aftercare. The best part was playing with the kids and watching them explore theatre through play and creative, collaborative processes. If you have a kiddo who enjoys being outside, playing with pets, and using their imagination, I am about to be your kids new best friend. I have a 1 year old border collie pup and enjoy spending a lot of time with her at dog parks. I love going on walks in parks, playing tag in the back yard, and coming up with imaginative games. If your little one is a little more shy, and enjoys a good story time or quiet arts and crafts projects, I love that as well! Traveling, pick up/drop off, or day trips to the zoo/museum/etc. are wonderful and I have my own transportation if needed. As well as babysitting/nannying, I am great with pets and wouldn't mind at all taking care of your fur kids as well! I also do not mind light housekeeping and helping with chores around the house. If your kids are currently doing remote schooling, I can help with that in whatever way I am able. Being an online student myself, I understand how strenuous and difficult it can be, and have gained a lot of experience in ways to make it a little easier, as well as manage some tech problems. I can help with just about all subjects (a little iffy on things like high school calculus, but I can figure it out!), but my specialties English (reading, writing and spelling for the little ones) and the arts!
