I've been caring for kids of many ages for MOST of my life! I first started my child care journey at age 11 completing a babysitting certification at my local hospital; I subsequently landed my first gig as a Mother's Helper by age 12. And YES, I do know CPR for children (and infants). I've primarily worked in child cares and day camps, with one or two recurring and long-term nannying gigs in college. I also have experience looking after children with varying disabilities! Fun fact: I carry an EpiPen at ALL times, and am very good at regulating allergies! My utmost values for childcare are: communication, creativity, compassion, and outdoor exploration. I believe that children can learn just as much (if not more) exploring nature or art than in a classroom.
