Growing up in a family-oriented household, I took on the role of babysitting my younger siblings from a very young age. When I got to high school, I babysat for various families around my neighborhood over the course of 4 years. I found a part of my passion in children, which is why I am currently pursuing my nursing degree, so I can be a pediatric nurse practitioner one day. (I am currently a junior in college). I enjoy spending my time with children because of their raw personalities, playful and imaginative energy, and curiosity to learn about the world. Working at an art studio as a painting teacher for children over the course of a year taught me patience, how to be more attentive to kids, and let my own inner child out with them.
