Meet Cecelia

Hello! My name is Cecelia and I go by Cece. I am a recent graduate from CU Boulder where I majored in psychology with a focus in child development and research methods. I eventually would love to get my masters and work with children in therapy. Furthermore, I have experience with children with Autism as well as physical disabilities. I understand every child is unique and may require different styles of socialization. During my student career I worked at Off Broadway Preschool where I was an aid to the lead teacher. In terms of training I know basic first-aid, CPR, and potty training. The school focused heavily in art and music where I learned many different ways to introduce the arts into young children's life, which I find so important to allow them to express themselves freely. I love playing tennis and being outdoors as well, so would love to Read more be able to take your kids outside and to the park to get some exercise! I have learned fun simple games to get them moving from working at the preschool. I am on the quiet side but really open up once I get know people. I think working with children has actually opened me up more and they provide a really positive way to look at the world. Building a connection and trust with a child is truly rewarding, that is the main reason I love being a sitter.
